Amtrak

Amtrak serves Berkeley with the San Joaquin (to Fresno and Bakersfield), and the Capitol Corridor (Sacramento to San Jose) routes. Both routes provide frequent departures daily from the Amtrak Berkeley station at University Avenue and Third Street, under the University Avenue overpass.
