Brushstrokes Studio

Brushstrokes Studio, Inc. is a paint your own pottery studio located in West Berkeley.

We offer drop in studio time for pottery painting as well as parties, classes, camps, ceramic baby keepsakes, and after school art programs. Our studio is not a storefront in a shopping mall but a real art studio with beautiful light, an outdoor garden, and inspiration all around. Our staff are all professional artists dedicated to helping our customers create beautiful, long lasting mementos. We also have a private upstairs studio for mom's groups, birthday parties & summer camps.

Established in 1995, Brushstrokes has been locally and independently owned and operated by artists. It was founded by Kevin Neirman of Kids N’ Clay and Nancy Selvin, both ceramic artists. It was purchased 30 years ago by Jessica Williams, a graduate of the Ceramics Department of the California College for the Arts in Oakland.
