How It Works

1. Sign Up

Download the app, scan your license and credit or debit card, enter some details, and go. Approval takes less than five minutes.

2. Find a Car

Use the app to see available cars nearby. Book up to 30 minutes in advance, or just walk up to a car on the street.

3. Unlock & Hit the Road

Unlock a car right from your smartphone. No key! You can go anywhere in the U.S. for as short or long as you want.

4. Park Easily

Park for free in street spots within the HomeZone, or in any of our designated parking lots in San Francisco. We also have spots at several East Bay BART stations and the Oakland Airport Park n' Fly. Don't park within 12 hours of street sweeping, in any no-parking zones, or in commercial or loading zones. Check out the parking rules before you go.

5. Always Affordable

Only pay for what you use at whichever rate is lowest – by mile, hour, or day (starting at just $0.40 a minute). Fuel, insurance, and parking in the HomeZone are all included. AAA Members get 10 percent off every trip!
