Disney Lorcana League Play

Wield magic inks and the power of Lorcana to assemble your team of Disney characters. Some characters will be familiar friends. Others will be fantastically reimagined.

Games of Berkeley hosts a weekly Lorcana League every Monday.

3:00 - 6:00 PM - Lorcana Casual Open Play. This is ideal for players who are looking to play some games in a no-stakes environment. Players of all ages are welcome to join us to get some games in, test deck builds, trade cards, and earn League Points in the process. Registration is $5 at the door (if you are participating in the League Tournament, just register for that so you don't pay for both).

6:00 - 9:00 PM - Lorcana League Tournament. This is an all ages, beginner-friendly event but with a little more organized structure to it. The tournament is comprised of three swiss-paired (players are matched based on record) rounds. Matches are best two-out-of-three and will last 50 minutes each. While supplies last, each participant will get 1 Booster Pack of an in-stock set. Registration is $15 when we have boosters to hand out and $10 when we do not.

There are no weekly prizes, but players do earn League Points every week towards monthly and seasonal prizes. League points are earned for the following:

1 point for participating in the event

1 point for bringing a new player (new to Lorcana or new to Games of Berkeley)

1 point for winning a match

1 point for helping teach a player the game or exhibit other community-focused positive behavior

1 point for wearing something Disney or Games of Berkeley themed

Prizes will be awarded to top League Point earners at the end of each month (what Ravensburger calls a Round) and at the end of each ~12 week Season.
