Lorin District

Berkeley's Lorin District is one of the most diverse, artistic and transit accessible commercial districts in the city. The Lorin is home to the South Berkeley Farmers market, boasts a thriving art and antiques cluster and is home to Shotgun Players and Berkeley Black Repertory Theater. It is also fast becoming an emerging food scene with an impressive assortment of new eating and drinking establishments.

The Lorin is also one of the oldest commercial districts in the city. Art, theater, antiques, food, education, and social services all mix in the south of Berkeley, right at the Ashby BART Station.
