Berkeley is California’s first and only city to offer visitors and locals touchscreen IKEs – Interactive Kiosk Experience — with maps, transit information, things to do, all available on touchscreens stands with public high-speed WiFi. IKEs support multiple languages for visitors from around the world and are compliant with the federal American with Disabilities Act.

Visit Berkeley leads local community content management and administrative efforts for the IKE Smart City digital kiosks throughout the City of Berkeley. The purpose is to ensure timely scheduling, planning, and distribution of local community content that promotes all Berkeley has to offer.
