BERKELEY, Calif., March 14, 2025 – The 13th annual Berkeley Restaurant Week(#BRW25) tips off Friday, March 21 with a basketball-inspired theme, “March Munch Madness,” and brilliant crossover menus from more than 60 of the city’s culinary superstars. As a bonus, this year #BRW25 features an elite playmaker: chocolate! The Chocolate Edition theme honors the Bioneers Conference happening in Downtown Berkeley March 27-29 – with Laura Ann Sweitzer, Director of Sustainability and Strategic Sourcing at TCHO, the Berkeley-based chocolatier, among the keynote speakers.

Restaurants, wineries, breweries, and other locations are set to “hoop it up” March 21-31 with special value menus and offerings, many featuring chocolate-infused dishes. “March Munch Madness” will offer tiered pricing options with basketball themes. “Lay Up” offers range from $10-$20; “Jump Shot” offers go from $20-$30; “Three Pointer” offers range from $30-$40; and “Full Court Press” offers are $40+.

Berkeley Restaurant Week diners can take advantage of a 33% off gallery + film discount at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) during #BRW25. Visit Berkeley high-fives the final weekend of Berkeley Restaurant Week with a Slam Dunk Soirée on Fri., March 28. The Gilman District's Wine Block is the setting (featuring Donkey & Goat Winery, Hammerling Wines, Tessier Winery, and Broc Cellars) for an evening to celebrate the vibrant flavors of Berkeley’s culinary scene in an open-air setting.
